Dedication- By Michael Kelso
We are a small group of pilots who got together and created a virtual squadron for C.F.S.
We based it with pride on one of WWII's best squadrons R.A.F. 303 'Kosciuszko'. It served with great distinction throughout the whole war fighting alongside other RAF and USAAF units.
It had its greatest hour during the Battle of Britain when it became the top scoring squadron in the RAF No other squadron could match the sheer furiocity and bravery with which the pilots of 'Kosciuszko' fought.
They did so in the hope that once Nazi Germany was defeated Poland would once again be free....This was not to be as Poland fell under the domination of the Soviet Union.
The pilots of Kosciuszko would have to wait for over 50 years to see their homeland free again.....Most never did.

This squadron is dedicated to those patriots who flew with 303, and other Polish squadrons who gave their lives for the freedom of Poland, and the rest of the world.

Further Dedication- By Charles Bain
This page should not only be dedicated to the pilots of the 303rd Squadron. Or to just the brave men and women who fought for Poland against overwhelming odds throughout the war.

This page, in a larger sense, is dedicated to all the brave souls who fought against their enemies with bravery and honour.

I believe that all these supposedly "minor" combatants should be honoured for their contribution. To all the countries who fought Fascist terror or Japanese conquest, regardless of their size or the importance of their acts.

They all deserve to be honoured

Historical Background of the 303rd
The R.A.F. 303rd was named after Tadeusz Kosciuszko, who was a famous Polish patriot and leader of the uprising in the late 18th century.

The World War II squadron was stationed in Blackpool and Northolt during the war. The unit took active part in Battle of Britain and recorded the highest score of victories (126) amongst all RAF squadrons.
